What is the program format?
Our program will feature interactive sessions with video cameras on, breakout rooms, Q & As, polls, and a webinar feedback questionnaire.
What times will the programs take place?
All private webinars will take place on week days as follows:
- Session I: from 9-11 AM EST (NY Time)
- Session II: from 12-2 PM EST (NY Time)
What are the learning outcomes?
Main Outcome: Empower Yourself to Successfully Lead your Team in Today’s New World.
Additional Possible Outcomes:
- Receive Credit Hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR Re-Certification;
- Receive an Executive Certificate in Leadership;*
- Become a member of AFEE’s closed “International Community of Leaders Club.”
Assessment of Learning for Accreditation & Credits: To receive an Executive Certificate in Leadership and/or Credit Hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR Re-Certification, participants need to complete the following:
- Formative Assessment: During Each Webinar
- Summative Assessment: At the End of All Webinars (in the form of a project).
* Receiving an accredited executive certificate in leadership for each part you complete would entail attending all webinars in this part and fulfilling the assessment and package requirements.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. All Certificates will be presented by AFEE, IFWE and USJ-CFP, and will reflect the number of webinars attended along with webinar details (titles and speakers).
Who manages the program?
This program is offered in partnership with Saint Joseph University’s Professional Training Center (USJ-CFP).
The organizers are The American Foundation for Educational Excellence (AFEE) and the International Foundation for Women’s Empowerment (IFWE).
The webinars will be managed, organized and moderated by Nada M. Salem, President/CEO of AFEE and IFWE.
Nada Salem is a passionate educator with extensive experience in leading academic institutions in the United States and abroad. She co-created and co-taught a methods course for teachers at GW Graduate School of Education. Ms. Salem holds a teaching diploma, a master's degree in education, and has successfully completed courses towards a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. Additionally, she holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard University. Ms. Salem formerly served as an administrative director and Assessment of Learning Coordinator for AACSB Accreditation at the GW School of Business. In September 2019, Ms. Salem was selected as a WOMAN LEADER by the University of Maryland‘s Kahlil Gibran Chair for Values and Peace. She is a member of the Marquis WHO'S WHO® list of prominent business professionals.
We are also happy to announce that AFEE has started the process to become an HRCI Approved Provider (AP). We hope that participants in our programs will be able to receive Credit Hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR Re-Certification.
